Nightclub Installation

Year 12 Student Artists 2007
Year 12 created a series of murals that delivered a harsh message about the effects of underage binge drinking and substance abuse. The project was linked to Catholic Citizenship and was displayed in a cubic form to create a nightclub environment in the Bridge Hall.
Colourful images were painted onto large boards to attract the attention of the student community which also mimicked the atmosphere of club culture. The glamour of the colours created a contrast to the visual language, which warned about the dangers of hedonism and the contemporary club scene.
